Application guidelines
The preferred participants are young investigators, especially PhD students and post-docs. Technical personnel will be considered when they are involved in organizing EM facilities.
The major criterion for selection will be a convincing explanation of how the participant expects to apply the techniques taught in the course to address well-defined biological questions. The number of participants will be limited to 21.
The application should include a full CV, a one to two-page description of the current research project. This must include a detailed explanation of the need for EM techniques in the projects.
Costs
All the costs of the course will be covered by EMBO, Office of Life Sciences, National University of Singapore and Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Singapore.
There will be no registration costs.
Food and housing will also be covered.
** However, the cost and transport to and from Singapore must be covered by the participants themselves**
