About the course

The course will consist of theory and practical modules, with some bioinformatics.

It is intended for experienced PhD students, post-docs or independent investigators. You could be a basic molecular or cell biologist who wishes to use trypanosomes as a model intheir research, or a molecular parasitologist who needs to increase their knowledge of trypanosome reverse genetics.

 

The first week will be a molecular biology course for endemic country applicants. Applicants with more molecular biology experience wil attend only the second two weeks (Dec 4th - 15th). There will be a weekend field trip.

Registration deadline: 20th August

There is no registration fee and some travel support is available for endemic country applicants
