Transport

Fréjus is a small town on the south east French riviera Côte d'Azur near Saint Tropez and Cannes.

** A Shuttle bus service is organized by the Villa Clythia from the St. Raphael bus station on June 17th at 12:40 | 13:45 | 15:45 | 17:15 (shuttle pdf). Please notify Malik Hamza of the Villa Clythia by e-mail (malik.hamza@caes.cnrs.fr) of your expected arrival time.

BY PLANE :

The best way : From Nice airport <http://www.nice.aeroport.fr/include_en/> (70 km from /La villa Clythia/), take the bus to Saint Raphaël railway station (for departures from Nice airport see http://cwp.embo.org/ w36-07/practical.html, price and online purchase at Nice airport website, http://www.nice.aeroport.fr/acces_stationnement/bus/

).

From the Saint Raphael railway station, you can take a scheduled bus, conference shuttle bus, or taxi to the Villa Clythia (see http://cwp.embo.org/w36-07/practical.html).

Alternative possibility (not advised) : From Marseille-Marignane airport (140 km from La villa Clythia), take the shuttle to the Marseilles-Saint Charles railway station (8 euros, every 20 minutes) and then take a train to Saint Raphaël railway station (online booking at www.sncf.fr).

BY TRAIN

Take a ticket to Saint Raphaël (online booking at www.sncf.fr). It takes 5h to come from Paris to Saint Raphaël railway station (5 TGV a day).

At Saint Raphaël railway station, you can either take a taxi to La Villa Clythia for 12 euros or take the bus Line 3 (Fréjus - Tour de Mare - Valescure- St-Raphael, 1.10 euro, ticket available in the bus, please check the timetable) : bus stop Villa Clythia.


BY CAR:

From east or west, leave the highway A8 at the exit #38, then follow the indications of the Fréjus map
