About the Workshop
This is the fourth meeting in a biennial series organized by the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML) This series of meetings focuses on the emerging interfaces between immunology and other disciplines. They are accompanied by a satellite meeting; The Luminy Advanced Course in Immunology, dedicated to technological advances. |

The aim of the current meeting is to bring together outstanding scientists and physicians to discuss intersections between immune responses and metabolism. |

This includes the influence of specific metabolic pathways on the physiology of immune cells, and the reciprocal contribution of immune responses to the development and progression of metabolic diseases, notably diabetes, obesity and atherosclerosis.
Focus will be given to molecular crossroads, such as nuclear orphan receptors, bridging immune and metabolic responses. |
