About the Workshop

The field of infection biology has exploded during the last two decades. Much is to be learnt from the parallel study and/or the comparison of the different strategies used by various pathogens to interact with their hosts.

Main Objective

The main objective of this workshop is to gather scientists working on different types of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites & fungi ...) and also commensals and interested  in various aspects of the infectious process.

Principal Themes

The principal themes of this workshop include entry of pathogens into cells, in vitro and in vivo imaging of infectious processes, epigenetics, chromatin remodeling, and role of small RNAs during infection.

The workshop will also cover innate immunity and the early host defense mechanisms.  Finally, chronic infections and pathogen-induced cancer will be discussed.

We look forward to welcoming you in Nice!
