Registration & Abstract submission

Deadline: August 15th, 2009

Number of participants is limited to 120.

If the meeting is oversubscribed, priority will be given to people submitting abstracts and an upper limit may be placed on the number of participants per lab.

All participants are encouraged to present their work as a poster

Your registration in three easy steps:

1. Submit application form by July 15th, 2009
   
   
2. You will be informed whether your application is accepted or not by July 30th, 2009 and will be provided with details about registration fee payment
   
   
3. Accepted participants should pay the registration fee by bank wire transfer no later than August 7th, 2009

REGISTRATION FEES:

Regular participant:                    Euro 250
Student and Post-Docs:               Euro 200*

*Students and Post-Docs must send proof of their status (letter from supervisor or institution).

Registration fee includes: participation to all workshop sessions and activities, workshop material, welcome reception, coffee-breaks, lunches, dinners.

* Travel and lodging costs will be at participants' charge.

Up to five registration fees will be waived for participants from less favoured regions of EMBC States

A limited number of Young-Investigator Awards is now available for PhD students or post-docs to help cover travel expenses (up to a maximum of EUR 300).  If you would like to apply for one of these travel grants please send your request to embo2009@szn.it indicating travel plan and cost of the ticket.

There will be three poster prizes for Young Investigators and the first prize will include a year long subscription to EMBO reports, donated by our main sponsor.
