Arriving in Lille by train

Situated just 400 meters from one another, Lille's two train stations are located in the city centre and are served by both the subway and the tram.


Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris

Lille Europe Station: Eurostar service to London and Brussels, direct TGV service to Roissy Airport, Paris and all major French cities


Brussels: 38 minutes, 14 TGV and Eurostar trains a day

Paris: 1 hour, 26 direct TGVs a day

Lyon: 3 hours, 11 direct TGVs a day

Rennes: 3 hours and 50 minutes, 4 direct TGVs a day

Marseille: 4 hours and 30 minutes, 6 direct TGVs a day

Bordeaux: 5 hours, 6 direct TGVs a day

Montpellier: 5 hours, 5 direct TGVs a day

Strasbourg: 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Arriving in Lille by plane

The Lille-Lesquin International Airport is located 10 km from Lille city centre. It serves more than 60 national and international destinations.

Scheduled domestic flights to and from Bordeaux, Clermon-Ferrand, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

Direct international flights to and from Algiers, Casablanca, Leeds-Bradford, Marrakech, Milan, Venice and Warsaw.

Flights with correspondance to and from Ajaccio, Barcelona, Berlin, Biarritz, Bologna, Brest, Calvi, Dakar, Edinburgh, Figari, Frankfort,
Glasgow, Limoges, Lisbon, Madrid, Montpellier, Pau, Porto, Prague, Rome, Toulon, Zurich, etc.


Shuttle service from the airport (at door A) to the city centre (stop in front of Euralille shopping center) is available. Length of ride: 20 minutes.

From Lille to the airport
: departures every hour Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 10 PM, Saturday from 5 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM.

From the airport to Lille: departures every hour Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

Lille is also less than an hour away by train from two international airports:

Paris Charles de Gaulle: 51 minutes

Brussels Zaventem: 38 minutes

Six motorways lead to Lille:
 
A1 from Paris (220 km)

A22 / E17 from Ghent (75 km), Antwerp (125 km) and Amsterdam ( 290 km)

A23 from Valenciennes (53 km)

A25 from Dunkerque (80 km) and the A26 from Calais (110 km)

A27 / E42 from Brussels (110 km)

           
Lille has street level car parks offering about 20,000 parking spaces as well as several underground car parks in the city centre, in addition to on-street pay-and-display ticket parking.

The rate generally varies between 1.30€ to 1.60€ an hour, depending on the location.

Nevertheless, it is recommended that you park outside the city centre and use the subway or the Citadine bus.

 
6 park-and-ride car parks with subway access offer free parking 24/7 and security surveillance Monday through Saturday, from 6 AM to midnight. They are located in Lille (subway stops Porte d'Arras, Porte des Postes and CHR B Calmette), in Lomme (subway stop Saint-Philibert) and in Villeneuve d'Ascq (subway stops Les Prés and 4 Cantons).

2 park-and-ride car parks with Citadine bus access are available. The first is located in the Champ de Mars (next to the Citadel) and the second at the Porte de Valenciennes subway stop. Both offer security surveillance Monday through Saturday, from 7 AM to 8 PM. At a cost of 1.60€ for 3 hours or 3€ for the day, parking includes free rides on the Citadine bus that serves the city centre as well as the rest of the city. Outside of these hours, parking is free and unsupervised.
