About the Conference
EMBO Workshop 'The nucleolus: new perspectives' is a two day workshop focusing on the nucleolus and its relation to disease. The workshop will consist of eighteen plenary lectures split into four sessions.
The first session will review the nucleolar proteome and structure, the second session will review protein and RNA synthesis and trafficking to and from the nucleolus, the third session will focus on viral interactions with the nucleolus and the fourth session will discuss nucleolar involvement in cancer and cellular stress.
Included are also discussion and poster sessions. The workshop will be held at the University of York in the historic medieval city of York.
