Application Information
The deadline for applications is July 7th, 2006.
The application should contain a brief CV, a statement about current research, a research abstract and a short justification of interest in the course. Please prepare these documents before registering.
This course is supported by EMBO and a such there is no fee to attend and accommodation and meals will be provided.
Industrial participants are accepted as well, but they will be charged a fee of Euro 1000.
Selected participants will have to arrange their own travel costs and any additional nights accommodation.
Participants will be notified of their acceptance before 20th July, 2006.
The number of participants is limited to 20.
The selection criteria will be:
- relevance of their current work to the objectives of the course
- scientific excellence of the previous research
- quality of the application (as outlined in the Abstract of research)
- geographical distribution
Travel Grants
A limited number of travel grants are availabe for young scientists working in peripheral EMBC member states and in Central Eastern Europe. The grants are limited to students whohave been selected to take part in an EMBO practical course in Europe.
