Conference Facilities
The meeting room is a tiered air-conditioned amphitheatre, fully equipped with appropriate projection equipment (see below), a large screen and microphones.
The following presentation media will be available at the OAC: - Projection equipment for Power Point style presentations - Mac & PC laptop computers with CD drives - Slide projector for regular 35mm slides - Overhead Projector

In order to facilitate the handling of computer presentations, speakers should arrive with their presentations on a CD; a laptop hard drive; or a thumb drive.
Speakers should give their presentation to the IT Specialist well before their assigned session so they may be loaded onto a single laptop.
Changing computers during the talks is necessarily slow and often results in the disruption of the talk schedule due to OS and software incompatibilities.
This is especially true if the presentation includes animations or movies, which need to be previewed to ensure that they will run smoothly.
Each speaker is given 12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions and discussion.
