The proposed conference will focus on mechanistic aspects of these two research areas, bringing together investigators of telomere components and function, the DNA-damage response and chromatin structure. 

The major objective is to encourage participation from labs from across the world working in these exciting and dynamic domains of research, and particularly to encourage students and post-doctoral fellows to discuss their latest findings in an open and co-operative environment.
