Conference Series

European Molecular Biology Organization

Replication/repair &

segregation of chromosomes

13 - 17 June | 2010 |Freiburg-Munzingen| Germany

About the Conference Series

The principal themes of the conference are the seminal questions of how DNA replication is regulated, how damage of DNA occurring during the cell cycle is repaired, how segregation of chromosomes is achieved, and how key cell cycle events are coordinated with each other.

A hallmark of the conference series is the idea of combining major scientific advances in all three kingdoms of life, bacteria, archaea, and eukaryotes.

A major objective of the conference series is that presentations must be  of high impact within the respective field of research and of the utmost cutting edge.

By bringing together the leading  scientists in the fields of replication, DNA repair and segregation from prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, we will generate a  unique opportunity to push the advancing spearheads of the fields even  further.

The meeting is limited to 100 participants. All participants are  supposed to contribute a poster or a talk. There will be longer (30 min) talks from invited speakers, and shorter (15 min) talks selected from  submitted abstracts.

We plan to have poster sessions each afternoon and the posters will be up during the entire meeting. This  will give ample time for contacts between the speakers and all the participants. Wine-tasting and a poster prize will round up  the meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you to Freiburg-Munzingen!
