SIGNALING IN THE IMMUNE SYSTEM:

Lymphocyte signaling from
development to effector function

12 - 16 September | 2009 | Certosa di Pontignano (Siena)| Italy

About the Conference

This second EMBO Conference of the series “Signaling in the immune system” will explore the nature and complexity of intracellular and intercellular signals which determine lymphocyte development and differentiation.

Understanding these processes is probably the most daunting task in modern immunology, requiring the development of highly sophisticated formal modeling and experimental tools.

The principal objective of the conference is to contribute to filling this gap by providing a critical assessment of the state-of-the-art in this rapidly moving area.

Poster Competition

We will be holding a poster competition - the winner will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to EMBO reports.  This award is a means of rewarding scientific merit and excellence among the participants of our meeting.
